• Upon completion of Initial Formation (or an academic degree in Theology/Religious Education), the expectation for all catechists/leaders - regardless of academic degree status - is that annually they will all engage in the following:

   

  1. One formation workshop offered through Franciscan at Home or one of our partners (e.g., University of Dayton Online, Diocese of Baton Rouge)

  2. One other formation experience of a person’s choosing (e.g., a retreat, webinar, spiritual reading, Christian service/outreach).

  • When you engage in any of these other formation opportunities of your choosing, we ask that you complete the very brief "Ongoing Formation Reflection" sheet which can be accessed HERE.

  
  ***Please Note: Participation in the GO! Gulf Coast Faith Formation Conference, Summer Institute for Catholic Educational Leadership, or any similar full day/multi day formation activity fulfills one's annual expectation for Ongoing Formation.
